Hello LadyBlue,

These look pretty good. I'll PM you on instructions.

To everyone thinking of submitting photos...

I had three other photographers this year, and all are submitting about 250+ photos each. I myself shot about 1400 photos that I will be whittling down to about 250ish. So, there's about 1000+ shots that I will then need to trim down to about half.

So, there's a lot. I do this as a volunteer to help the Boogie as it is the best festival around, and so helps our community.

If you feel you truly have some great shots to share, please post them here. I will review each one and get back to you.

What is always nice is shots of camping and shots during the concerts of your group or others. No liquor please. Children shots and other family shots are appreciated as well.

If we do accept them, please try to keep them to about 2 MB, approximately 1200px x 800px or so. I can take any large photo of course, but, I will need to trim them down.

The shots will be used for marketing purposes, including potential print media like articles.

I need to cut off submission by about Sept 7. You can post to the forum any time though.

Thanks everyone! You all are great

Brian

To all,

What a beautiful night it is. I have spent the past couple of weeks going through the 1400 shots I took.

This weekend, it has been my mission to then go through the 1004 shots submitted to me, including my own, but not including the fireworks shots.

I have it down to 688 shots, but, I need to really get it down more.
Usually we post about 400 shots, but, I think this year they'll be a wee bit more.

Some awesome stuff.

I'll keep you posted here so subscribe to this topic.

OK, another Sunday. Boy the week by fast.
This is a real busy time for my business, so I wasn't able to get as much time on to the photos as hoped.
Then there is today. This has been the hardest selection process I think I have ever done.
I have it now down to 260 Band shots. I think that is plenty.
Then, there are about 87 back stage shots, and currently about 125 camping and fan shots.
I will be needing have the Benton's review the non-band shots, so, that number may change.
Oh ya, firework shots too.

So, I will spend today doing the final sorting. Then, I need to rename them all in order.
I think I may be down the Lucky Dog in Plymouth, during the game doing it.
THEN, I can start putting them up, which, is fairly easy to do as I built the system that way.

So, just a wee bit longer. This week I promise.
Thanks for being patient.

Brian

I just saw Brad today. I have a super deluxe head cold so kept far away from me.
But, he gave me some parameters on some shots to come out or be altered and we are supposed to get together next week for review.

Understand, I have to let them review things. It is frustrating to us photographers as well as we spent so many hours on them.

But, hopefully, by the beginning of November, they will be up.

Stay tuned, subscribe to this topic and I will keep you all posted.

Back to my DayQuil.
